Dharma talk: Women’s History Month
What I said, more or less:
It’s Women’s History Month, so I thought we’d hear from some women today.
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.”
- Hellen Keller
I love the sound of that, but this practice is really about finding the space between adventure and nothing at all. How can you be more present and aware, even when it seems like nothing much? How does practice bring adventure down to the everyday? Conversely, how can you make the routine into something exciting?

Hellen Keller, graduating from Radcliffe College in 1904
Along the way:
“Do one thing every day that scares you.”
-Eleanor Roosevelt
“Power has to come from inside. It has to come from knowing who you are, why you’re on earth, what is the meaning of your life. That’s power.”
-Jane Fonda
I do not use AI to write my dharma talks or the content for this newsletter, and I never will.
